Douglas W. Pullin Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Professional Counselor
My work invites you to discover greater freedom from self-limiting patterns that can lead to stress, conflict and/or withdrawal from life. By developing greater mindfulness of the unfolding story line of your life, you can be less reactive and more compassionate with yourself and others. You can move beyond conceptual knowledge into direct experiential understanding of the mind/body process. Significant change can happen when you step out of our problem-saturated story and habitual conditioning into stories that embrace both internal and external resources.
I have extensive experience working with: trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, life transitions and spiritual growth.
Some of the approaches I am skillful in using include: Narrative, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), scientifically based relationship therapy, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, body centered therapy and mindfulness meditation. In practice since 1984, I am a seasoned, interactive, and compassionate therapist committed to helping you identify and reach your goals.
