seeds of the Amazon and a variety of exotic materials from S. America
are available. Enjoy the texture and quality of hand-woven natural fibers.
The creation of USP has evolved directly from grassroots activities and partnerships with indigenous peoples and family groups of Latin America. These friendships have provided a rare form of experiencial learning through cooperative living, action-adventure and cross cultural solidarity. As a healing activity for communities in both North and South, this has proven to be a balanced form of economic development through Fair Trade, Education and Eco-cultural exchange.
USP has directed activities of the Institute for Economic Justice and Indigenous Technology (IEJIT) and has supplied the Mayan Weavers Store with cultural goods since 1997.
